Today, we bring you heartbreaking news that has shocked the Hollywood community and fans worldwide. Malcolm-Jamal Warner—beloved for his iconic role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show—has tragically passed away.”
Over the weekend, the 54-year-old actor was swept away by a powerful current while on a family vacation at Playa Grande beach in Cahuita, Limón, Costa Rica.

A second man, who has not been publicly identified, was also caught in the same rip current and remains in critical condition. The tragedy unfolded quickly—witnesses say bystanders jumped in to help, but the tide was simply too strong.
Officials explained that resources had been redirected to nearby beaches—Playa Negra and Chiquita—due to a series of recent aquatic incidents, leaving Playa Grande without coverage at the worst possible moment.

Fans remember him not only for The Cosby Show but also for his work in Malcolm & Eddie, Reed Between the Lines, and The Resident.
